We like to celebrate things around here and to celebrate the upcoming new baby that will be joining our family we've decided to up Canadian Tire cashback to 5%!

edit: Due to Canadian Tire closing their cashback program, cashback for Canadian Tire will unfortunately end after July 30th.

**Update: We'll accept enquiries for the Canadian Tire program until August 8th. The program will be ending on July 30th so we'll extend the 5% cashback until July 30th as well.

Welcome To The New Updated DealGuild!

The keen-eyed amongst you will have noticed that our beloved Dealguild looks a little bit different this morning! Weve had our first major site update, after being on the go for over 2 years now. There are 1 or 2 new features, but the site operates in a very similar way to how it worked before. Remember if youre not yet a Dealguild member, feel free to join us using the join button at the top of the page.

Ive written a help guide for all the newbies, or maybe even our seasoned members want to have a glance at it, you might find out some site features which you were not aware of.

DealGuild Tips - Are you voting?

I'm going to pop up a series of tips on using dealguild. We have a few newbies floating around lately, and a lot of readers of the RSS feed might never see this kind of info.

How dealguild works - a deal is posted, members can vote on the deal, and once it reaches a certain threshold, it gets to the front page. There you can see all the deals that have been voted hot by the members, really a listing of all the best deals. (Click the "go to deal" button to go there)

If you think something is a great bargain, or a post has been of use to you, please remember to click the "hot" button. If you have never posted a deal, you may not have a very high voting power, but if you want your hot vote to have more sway, just start posting some deals - if they get hot, your ability to rate other members deals increases too :)
