Not the computer kind, this time, but physical pen-and-paper notebooks. $0.40 for a four-pack of 32 page notebooks, in store only. (80% off the normal price) These are really useful even if you don't have kids in school.

Alternately, 1-subject 80-page notebooks are 26 cents each, and there's a ton of other good deals in store. Check it out!

Not a deal so much but more of a clearance. This is a fantastic printer for home or business. I was ready to buy one from the States but fortunately found this on the Staples site. All local stores were sold out in the GTA but there is availability online at last look. I was told they are no longer going to carry this model

At $174.05, the price is at least $30 cheaper than any other Canadian retailer plus it was shipped to me the next day free of charge. I set it up in about 20 minutes.

If you were looking for a versatile label printer, I recommend this bad boy.

Staples - 50% Off lowest price - Childrens Backpacks - YMMV

We were in the North End Peterborough Staples location today and noticed that they were having a 50% clearance sale on their in-store backpacks. The 50% is off the already discounted price. So we picked up a couple of Impact 3pc Backpack Sets (incl. backpack, insulated lunch bag & pencil case). Regular price: $9.98. Discounted to: $6.97. We got an additional 50% off the $6.97!

It makes a great gift for any child. We bought a couple of them to donate to charity next year. Eg: Backpacks for Kids Program, Christmas Toy Drives, etc. So many charity toy/gift drives only receive stuffed animals and toys for little kids/toddlers. So we are going to donate them as appropriate gifts for older children.

FYI: Not all locations may have this deal as the south end Ptbo location did not offer 50% off the lowest price however all theirs were discounted somewhat. Also, there is a large variety of styles and sizes and colours available to choose from.

I thought I'd create this thread to have a place where we can help each other out with Staples.ca coupons.

If you want to see the generic staples codes which can be used by anyone, click the "staples deals" button below. This should show you a list of the active codes. However, you may or may not know, that Staples also email out coupon codes in their newsletter which are "one use only", and can be used on anyone's account.

These discount codes are known to be stackable with the generic ones, so can make for some excellent bargains if you use both.

So below, I'll post up offers of any one use coupon codes I get, and you can claim them if you need them. It would be great if you could also share any that you get by email, but are not intending to use. You will be awarded with real life karma... !

UPDATE - January 2009 - generic coupon codes for Staples haven't been seen in a very long time, so we now only share the ones that we have been sent by email. Just ask in the thread below :)
