View Full Version : My laptop needs new feet :)

So my Inspiron 6400 has lost a foot and now it rocks a bit when it's sitting on a desk. Very annoying. Any ideas where to find replacements?

We've lost a couple feet on our laptop too. Something is wonky with the sound now so my husband has to send it in. He asked them to replace the missing feet while they have it. :) You could call them and see if they would be willing to send you replacements. It's worth a shot anyways!

Good idea. I've only had it for a few months, so they might be willing to, and I've bought probably 10-15 laptops from Dell over the last 2 years.

That`s an common issue. If looks are not an issue, go to Radio Shack(yes!) and get the stick-on rubber feet that they sell in packs of six. They`re about 1cm square and go for about $5 a pack.

Yeah, id rather go with a nice round one that will fit back in that recessed hole.

So Purolator dropped off my husband's laptop today, which is a good thing because he has been calling them EVERY DAY this week to see if it was in! :shock: Anyways, Dell put all new feet on his computer which he will be very happy with. :)
