The Source - ACER ASE360-U-D4200 Desktop PC - $199.96! MrDisco on 2009-03-18 15:15:27The Source has a steal of a deal for those looking for a 'beater' PC. Originally priced at $1199.99, this PC is on sale for $199.96! No that is not a typo. For $200 you get a functioning PC (sans monitor) *including* Windows Media Center

Six months ago I would have said this is burning. Now, I've seen so many good deals lately, I'm not even sure if this is *hot*. I will hold off voting, until I've compared.
Looks like it is a unit that has been used as a demo, in store only right now. Not available within 200km of me, so it looks like you can't find this is southern Ontario. Last edited by docbill : 18-03-2009 at 06:00 PM. Reason: update |

I think it's kinda hot... difficult one because on the one hand the price has come down so much, but on the other hand computers devalue so quickly, and if you just want a "beater" or spare then you can always get one for under $200 at factorydirect or any other warehouse type store, especially for refurbs/demo models. I personally find it kind of hard to value the Source's stuff because they have 80-90% off special items so often that half the time I'm wondering if everything else just has a huge mark-up!
