I think it depends on how much the item sells for etc. For example:

To see how Final Value Fees are calculated for these listing formats, see eBay.ca fees:

• Auction-style: The Final Value Fee is based on the winning bid.
  
• Fixed price or Buy It Now: The Final Value Fee is based on the purchase price.
  
• Reserve Price auction-style listings: The Final Value fee is based on the closing bid when the reserve price is met. There's no Final Value Fee charged if the reserve isn't met.
  
• Auction-style or Fixed Price listings in Business & Industrial categories
  
• $0 .00 Insertion Fee auction-style listings: The Final Value Fee is 8.75% of the winning bid or $20, whichever is lower.
  

Example of a Final Value Fee calculation for an auction listing:

• You sell an item for $60.00
  
• For the first $25.00 you pay 8.75%, which is $2.19
  
• For the remaining $35.00 you pay 3.50%, which is $1.23
  
• For this item the Final Value Fee is $3.42 ($2.19 + $1.23)
